Andrew Cowie has a diverse background with business, military and non-profit sector experience. Strong leadership ability and management skills combine with expertise in problem solving and decision making in time-critical situations.

Andrew has extensive experience in project management, change management, systems and infrastructure architecture, software development methodologies, and operations practices. Somewhat unusually for someone with over 20 years in technology, he is noted for the ability to simultaneously work with senior executives grappling with corporate strategy while being able to get involved with the engineering details necessary to successfully implement such initiatives.

He is a frequent speaker at conferences on topics of operations professionalism and managing change within technology contexts. He serves on several non-for-profit boards in the cause of advancing excellence in education and furthering Open Source worldwide.

Andrew graduated from the Royal Military College at Kingston, Canada with a degree in Engineering Physics.

Andrew Cowie founded Operational Dynamics and is the Managing Director. He is involved in most projects the firm undertakes.
